Biography

Going all the way back to eighth grade, I knew then that I wanted to be a firefighter. Seven years later, at age 21, I achieved my dream job as I started my fire service career.

It didn’t take me long to realize that I needed to dedicate myself to my profession. That included not only ongoing training, but also formal education. The work ethic instilled in me by my parents allowed me to pursue associates, undergraduate, and graduate degrees all while working full-time.
